| our college covers an area of over 200.000 square meters and the building overall arrangement is reasonable. the campus network is linked to the internet,
which realizes the work networking. there are over 80 basic and professional labs, the advanced professional facilities and more than 350,000 books in the
library. the paper and the paper making published by the school is the national chinese key periodical that is published publicly home and overseas. high quality teaching our college has rich teaching resources. we have a total of 97 assistant professors and 165 lecturers, all of whom have vast teaching experience, loads of energy and a good grasp of technological development. having engaged in vocational education for around 50 years, we have gained plenty of schooling experience. our 6 main focus areas; industry, economy, management, law, literature and art, which include a total of 33 different majors, cover all kinds of study demands. we have had outstanding achievements in scientific research, educational reform and study program development. one of our majors, food biotechnology, has been appointed by ministry of education as a trial major for higher technical & vocational education and educational reform. printing technology, mould design & manufacturing and decoration & advertisement design are trial majors for sichuan higher technical & vocational education and educational reform.. campus life our sollege holds a varity of students activities in successive years such as the student culture and art festa, the track meet, the college cup football match, tbcba(technologh and business college basketball association) and the talents cup debating competition. we dig out the students’ strongpoints and enhance their competition abilities through thess ctivities at the same time also build our school’s running school feature. these activities are wellcome by the students and the society. cooperative education now our college has over 7000 students at school. facing all the students in china it recruits mainly the 3-year advanced vocational students(the high school graduates) and another 3-year advanced vocational students(the trade school graduates) and so on. accoding to the policy the second and the third year students in our college can study in the relative university through an examination. our college has cooperated with 乔治安大学for 10 years. we successfully brought the international internet education into effect and set up good cooperation in english training and exchanging students. every student can be sent to study in canada by our college. and our college also set up the national vocation skill appraisal agency which can apprise 20 kinds of secondary and high-level vocation skills. graduates our graduates have good prospects to land a good job in the job market. we offer our students vocational guidance and employment consultancy. additionally, we help them to establish reasonable goals in the job searching process. our graduates have a reputation as good and qualified workers. their working abilities are broadly admitted by their mployers and they are warmly welcomed by the society as well. for the last 5 years, the first-time employment rate for our graduates has constantly been over 93%. recently, many large-scale companies from seaside cities like beijing, shanghai, hangzhou, shenzhen, zhuhai and guangzhou, have recruited quite a lot of our graduates. some famous companies have been directly recruiting employees from our college. the companies have also started cooperating with us to meet their future recruiting needs. since the founding of our college, we have educated thousands of elite students in different areas. a lot of them have become entrepreneurs, scientific experts and government officials. |
